The Cheonggyecheon Stream was restored to its original condition
by removing the concrete structure that had been covering it. It has now become
a representative attraction in Seoul. A visitor can learn about the history and
hear stories about this stream at this museum.
The objects displayed in the center help visitors understand the
history and allow them to hear stories about the stream, while the exhibitions
or cultural events, held from time to time, add a dynamic factor to what the
center does for the visitors.
The event held in the auditorium (3rd floor) at 7:00 pm on the
third Thursday of each month includes a concert, changgeuk (Korean opera),
dance, a discussion about a book, etc. Thus, it is advisable to check what
events are being held at the center before visiting in order to make your visit
a more worthwhile one.
