Located in Jongno-gu, Seoul, Sejong Center is an arts and 
cultural complex that encompasses both Korean traditional and modern performing 
arts and exhibitions. As the cultural space most favored by Seoulites, Sejong 
Center is a destination for anyone serious about the arts and is a place that 
evokes Seoulites’ cultural nostalgia. Celebrating its 10th anniversary this 
year, Sejong Center has strived to provide Seoulites with high-quality art 
performances and exhibitions and serves as a site for relaxation. In March 2004, 
it completed its full-scale renovation, firmly establishing itself as a cultural 
and art complex equipped with various modern facilities, including the main 
theater, a minor theater, an exhibition hall, a convention center, and a 
conference hall. With its 9 resident art companies as its foundation, Sejong 
Center features quality performances in various genres ranging from Korean 
traditional and Western classical music and dance to cross-over arts.
